Class 5 Requires Logbooks (US 24089)
The class 5 licence course covers a Heavy Rigid Vehicle with a Gross Combination Mass (GCM) of more than 25,000kg. Our truck is loaded as per New Zealand Transport Agency requirements for driver licencing
RBM Driver Training is New Zealand Transport Agency and NZQA approved. By completing our training programme, you are able to bypass the six month waiting period on the learners licence and gain your full licence immediately upon completion of our training programme.
The courses can be arranged to suit your requirements. On successful completion of the course - Mito will credit you with the following Unit Standards to your NZQA record of learning in addition to receiving the course certificate.
Course includes:
Logbook Unit Standard 24089
Class 5 theory Unit Standard 17576
Practical driving Assessment
On completion of our training programme you will be issued with a certificate which you will need to take to a testing agent and have your licence upgraded with no further practical test being required. You are NOT licenced to drive on the road until your licence has been upgraded.
Course Pre-requisite
To be eligible for a class 5 licence you must have held a full class 4 licence for:
Over 25 years of age 3 months minimum.
Under 25years of age 6 months minimum.
Obtained a medical certificate from a doctor.

Should extra lessons be required they will be charged as required.
Failure to pass the Theory test or assessments will incur an additional resit fee.
You will need to bring your current drivers licence.
