Truck Class 2 Requires a Learners Licence

The class 2 licence course covers a Heavy Rigid Vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) more than 6,000kg but less than 18000kg. Our truck is loaded as per New Zealand Transport Agency requirements for driver licencing.  
RBM Driver Training is New Zealand Transport Agency and NZQA approved. Applicants must have held a full class one car licence for at least six months to be eligible to gain a class 2 licence. Courses can be arranged to suit your requirements.
On successful completion of the course - Mito will credit you with the following Unit Standards to your NZQA record of learning in addition to receiving the course certificate.

Course includes:

Logbooks Unit Standard 24089
Class 2 theory Unit Standard 17574
Practical driving Assessment

On completion of our training programme you will be issued with a certificate which you will need to take to a testing agent and have your licence upgraded with no further practical test being required. You are NOT licenced to drive on the road until your licence has been upgraded.

Course Pre-requisite

To be eligible for a class 2 licence you must have held a full class 1 car licence for a minimum of six months

Should extra lessons be required they will be charged as required
Failure to pass the Theory test or assessments will incur an additional resit fee
You will need to bring your current drivers licence
We require 24 hours notice of any cancellations
